Saturday was a great day. We hiked Mt. Naeyeonsan which is only about 35 minutes from where we live. We woke up super early and were to the mountain by 8am. The hike up was phenomenal, we were literally the only hikers in the entire park. It was so quiet and all we heard were each others footsteps and rushing water from the falls. The way back was a different story, with loads of people hiking up as we were descending. We kept saying to ourselves, thank goodness we got here so early. It felt so cool to have that whole place to ourselves. Unreal. The day was pretty cloudy and many of the trees are barely starting to bloom, so our photos do the mountain little justice. But we are certainly re-visiting this summer and will swim in the falls and take more photos.
The way in.
Temple.
Thirsty? Here you go.
Top left is a giant drum.
Walking in.
He went under the fence.
I wonder whats past the bridge?...

What a beautiful place. When I saw the bridge, I thought, gosh, I hope they did not cross it!
ReplyDeleteMy fear of heights took over. It looks a lot sturdier, but I don't think I would have done it.
